Daniella is a dedicated speech-language pathologist from Tarntanya (Adelaide), South Australia, deeply committed to community well-being. Her academic journey includes a bachelor's degree in speech pathology from Flinders University and a postgraduate diploma in dementia from the University of Tasmania. Daniella specializes in adult acute rehabilitation, with an interest in Indigenous health, palliative care, and aged care.

Having witnessed firsthand the pitfalls of unsustainable practices from western NGOs, short-term missions, and voluntourism, Daniella was drawn to TBB's mission of local sustainability and empowerment. Before joining TBB as the Director of Operations in 2022, Daniella volunteered with various organizations, including the Red Cross, International Justice Mission, Salvation Army x Rahab, and Friends of Refugees. Her roles ranged from spokesperson for trafficking prevention campaigns to assisting refugees and vulnerable migrants with employment and education access.

In August 2025, Daniella transitioned to an advisory role within TBB.

She lives in Aotearoa (New Zealand) with her husband and children.
